I think it might of been a 70s version of the Lennox Hill Anti Rotation Brace - an evolution of  what Joe Namath wore.

I think they were 'The Thing' when it came to Knee Braces, up until CTIs came out. I've got several sets of CTIs that I've gone through, as my knees / legs have changed over the decades.
