Yes, there was a press release...........about 3 or 4 months ago if not longer. It may have even been right after Nationals last year.

Doesn't matter! Doesn't have a good reason to make a comment as to why Pingree chose a career path that Dave doesn't agree with. Being a paramedic is both a challenging and a rewarding job. Wouldn't be surprised to see him helping out with the asterisk crew sometimes.

Think about being away from your family working 120 hour plus weeks. Do the math - take Ping's salary, divide by the total number hours hours worked and hour much is the hourly wage? Oh wait - a whopping $40 Per Diem will add up too!!!!!

If you have a family and actually what to raise your kids a team manager job is not the way to go.

It seems that he's going to stay at RacerX also, which I think is awesome. He's definitely got some character.
Can't blame the guy for wanting something better for his and his families life.
