No probs with the efi, but some bikes had a recall and problems with the decompression pin breaking, if you get a used one check a dealer with the vin to make sure the problem was resolved! Bike stalled easy, some guys turned up the idle, others got ir remapped, and a full exhaust! You buying used or new? Why the 09 Honda? Has a stink bug problem, needed a rear linkage arm and suspension done, ! Clutch was suspect depends on your use. My buddy did all the mods and loves his! Depends on your budget!

No comparison, if you have the money 2011 rmz! I have an 09 rmz 450, pipe, mapped ,rg3 suspension, clamps, etc! Great bike and they say the 10/11 rmz is even better! Ther are rebates in my area on 2010 rmz 450 s if you can find one! $6600 otd. Best handling 450. 13/51, get suspension done and the yosh or pro circuit pipe. I have an fmf 4.1 ti with megabomb, great pipe also. fmf has big sales now!

My buddy has the Yammy 10 450, pipe, mapped, suspension done, blue model and he put blk excels on it! Bike is sik also LOL! really comes down to personal choice man , can t go wrong. Quite a few 2010 s around you can save about $1100-1200, thats money for tires, suspension, pipe, bling, whatever! Each bike has pro s and cons ! You gonna keep it stock, race it , trail , moto practice , gncc? Whats your budget for the bike and budget for mods? the kawys and crf s are good, cant really give an honest opinion on the ktm s,my one buddy swears by the KTM s. I ve ridden them all except the ktm s. I m 6 2 215lbs, mid pack B rider!

Budget is around 15,000 but new bikes are 10,000 - 12,000 over here quite a bit more so have a few thousand to spend.

ill take a zook over the honda 4 guys in my area have the 09 450 honda and all of them have transmission issues.....false neutrals between 3rd and 4th

I've had mine since they came out and have had no issue's at ALL! I just revavled my suspension like every one does, put a pipe and a hydo clutch, and i love the bike... To many people read to much shit and talk to much shit.

How many hrs on the bike? what year?, I spoke to a friend of mine and he was nt a ware of the problem and the recall, he has a 09 crf450 25hrs on it! He did nt know what to do so i helped him and his bike was on the recall list and he never got the letter from honda, i contacted honda for him, they said they sent the letter. The letter came back to honda for some reason.(who knows why, address,wrong ?) The part will be fixed buy honda for free to the customer, good until 6-15, about an hour long repair! He will take it in soon and he verified the vin with the dealer! Good luck man, did your bike lock up?

not talkin shit stright up everyone in my area that has one of those bikes has major transmission issues ....the owner of the track i ride at has 2 bikes and both have had the trannys pop ..not to mention 3 other guys i ride with....one which got fucked up when his bike jumped out of gear while goin over the biggest jump on the track.....just because u have one dont mean nothing....go on thumpertalk in the crf forums....alot of people have a ton of issues ......and the fuel pumps are suspect too...the filter gets clogged real easy and kills the pumps

no comparison..zukki all day IMO,..even though I ride a crf. If I had the money, I'd buy a new RMZ in a half a heartbeat!!
