kidney belt...that's funny. Protect your kidney's ??? Not hardly.

The kidneys are inside your body. Partially covered by your ribs 11 and 12. Then muscle and fat. No mater how tight you make that belt, it wont do anything for the organs.

Back support. Maybe.

When you're 70 years old and lack bladder control you'll wish you had worn a kidney belt.

You don't wear a kidney belt to protect from impact injuries. You wear one to stop your internal organs - kidneys especially - from shifting around and getting pinched or bruised. The back support they provide is an added benefit.

I bet those that don't notice the difference predominantly ride relatively smooth, hardpack tracks, because they make a BIG difference on rough outdoor tracks.
