funny how RC spanked JS badly in 2007 his last MX year were he only raced like 6 races.
They actually battled at most of the 6 races and some of the most epic battles ever. RV would get crushed by James and RC from 07. But who wouldnt?

Did you all forget how bad Villo smoked the WORLD at the 07 MXDN? What's the difference? He smoked Ricky too......I am one of RC's biggest fans but I am also one of RV's biggest fans, ever since the supermini vids of him and Albertyn on Transworld years ago. RV has that drive.....the drive RC had.....RV IMHO has the outdoor and now iundoor skills that surpass where Ricky was in his first big bike years. This coming outdoor season should be a real test. Also, RC didn't have to race James his whole outdoor career.....RV does....

If this is correct, how did Villopoto manage to "crush" Carmichael at Budd's Creek in 07?

You mean like at the MXDN??
RV did blow RC away at the mxdn. RC got a horrible start that day though. I've always put RV up there with the greats, he has that something extra that RC, JS, MC and others have or had.

RV was unreal that day at Budds Creek. He won one of the motos by over a minute if I remember correctly. He crashed in one of them but still won.

We all saw the RC v JS era and RC came out on top due to his pressure on James and his intense fitness level and desire to win . How do you think RV would go with the kind of same style and hunger to win and with his fitness he has now.
Following your retarded logic, let's compare another stat. (not to discredit another rider, but, to discredit your dumbass posts)

James Stewart:

Career Results:
2010 20th (SX), 35th (MX)
2009 1st (SX)
2008 23rd (SX), 1st (MX)
2007 1st (SX), 7th (MX)
2006 2nd (SX), 4th (MX)
2005 10th (SX), 12th (250MX)

Big Bike 12 JS 3

This is one reason JS takes a beating on this and other boards... get it?

Geez - if RC raced against guys that were not beat down and mentally weak like Stanton, RJ, Ward, Barnett, Glover, Hannah etc he might have been lucky to win a title.

The correct spelling is GOTE - Greatest Of That Era.

RV fan saying Carmichael easily. Carmichael is insane outdoors. I don't think anyone can/could beat RC outdoors.

James and RV have kinda similar stats in the 1st 2 seasons of their 450 careers.

James
2005
SX = 3 wins
MX = 0 wins

2006
SX = 8 wins
MX = 3 wins

RV
2009
SX = 2 wins
MX = 1 win

2010
SX = 7 wins
MX = 0 wins

IMO, RV is still improving. So as long as we're doing hypotheticals, I think that the 2012 RV vs. RC in his prime would be a damn good race.
