SLC 2026 Supercross - Who was there?

Which one of you lucky fools was at the race this weekend and got to experience the most magical moment in SX history?  I can't imagine the energy in that place. I wish they had one of those roar meters like they have in some NFL broadcasts.  This race more than ever was most important to have all the content creators there on the floor to capture this energy on film, because I know it won't be captured in the broadcast replays.  I'm looking forward to watching some of the vLogs as I'm hoping those guys all had their mic gains set properly to capture the crowd erupting without distortion.  Hopefully some high-end clean audio from professional off-shoe mics is in the editing room as we speak.  The initial eruption must have been insane, to the "Kenny" chants, etc. Definitely one of those nights worthy for one to say "I was there"...

BTW, does SLC still have strict hours to buy alcohol?  Hopefully the PMG team brought their own cases of Tequila in.

If any good vLogs come out that harnessed the energy of that magical night please post the links here as I do not follow those channels.

I was there. As I said in another thread. I’ve been to a LOT of races in my life and that was the first time I’ve ever seen a fan base follow a rider around that loud. On multiple occasions the entire stadium was chanting KENNY, KENNY, KENNY. I couldn’t help but think how he must feel in that moment. An entire stadium saying your name in front of family, friends and peers. What a hero type feeling he must have had. Only a couple things make me tear up. Thinking about my kids growing up and leaving the house, titanic and apparently Roczen hugging his family after a 450 SX championship.

The SLC crowd was all in on Kenny. The way “The Roar” followed him around the track was pretty damn cool.

Like many others are gonna say…

I was stoked to be there.

So much for those who try to claim the Americans don't like foreigners huh?

Yea no kidding. That was the most stoked I have ever seen absolutely EVERYONE. There wasn't a single person who wasn't going ballistic for Ken on Saturday. Fuck even Hunter was stoked. What an awesome moment. I gotta admit, I have never had a supercross championship bring a tear to my eye. I felt like I had just watched "Marley and Me" ffs.

I got to be a part of the flag crew again this year, and I was front and center at the end of the whoops in the stands controlling the lights for the corner Deegan went down in. The crowd was louder than any SX I've ever been at, the energy was awesome!

Congrats to Kenny & Cole Davies - the two biggest winners of the night IMO -

That’s right where I was sitting. At the end facing the sand. IMG 0748 3

I was at Tampa when Mookie got his first win last year. Being in that crowd is one of the most electrifying experiences I have ever been apart of, the tension throughout the stadium was insane when Mookie was closing the gap, and then Chase threw it away in the whoops and the place went berserk. The last 4-5 laps for Mookie were similar to basically the whole main for Kenny at SLC. You could find Mookie on the track by just looking in the stands and finding the section that was standing. I’m not a big sports person in general, so SX races are about the biggest events I attend and it was unreal.

I can’t imagine how it was at SLC this weekend.  You guys got treated to an adrenaline pumping 250 main and then followed it up with the best 450SX championship in a long time (possibly ever). Whatever you paid for tickets, you got your monies worth.

I was in the bottom row right at the end of the whoops & beginning of the sand. Best seat in the house front and center of all of the key passes and take out attempts. Thanks T-Man & mama T
