Does nobody here have google skills? There have been 2 previous rounds and one round going on right now. I have watched two previous rounds via streaming internet and am watching the LA round via streaming internet right now. Just do some google checking you will find multiple live streams.

here is the issue.

first off, FastEddy, I know what you are talking about. I also know that that crap is VERY limited, VERY invasive, and doesnt pay dick all like you think it does. been there, seen it first hand, good luck A. collecting B. getting people to put it in in the first place. C. getting them to put something useful to the person paying for it which lead them not paying because people will put gibberish in there.

There is only 1 way in hell this would have a shot.

I know the back side costs for people, equipment, bandwidth and servers. Whats to be seen is how much per round it would cost to be able to purchase the availability to be able to do it, and it would have to be done in such a way that it doesnt interfere with the content to be aired because of how things are setup between Feld Entertainment, Speed, and CBS. Its not like they will take $50 bucks a round and say ok here you go.

First off, I am going to have to show, and this isnt that hard, that anything webcontent, you arent going to lose tv veiwership. That part is actually easy to prove. Why? You cant just "channel surf" the web and run across it.... the biggest hurdle right now to webcasting/broadcasting. This means it will only be seen by hardcore, on a mission to find it, veiwers..... the exact same kind that will still watch it on TV. Why? Because if its on somehow somewhere, we will watch it AND

what would be webcast, lets face it, a panned back camera, a virtual seat... no matter how good, you arent going to get up close and personal like the polished broadcast does. This actually DOES work in our favor possibly. Why? Because we will watch anything we can, all of us. Doesnt matter what it is or the quality, if its moto, we will at least watch it one time. Now, that being said...

I would LOVE to have a camera showing the whole track, streaming at a decent quality, and have weege and holley commentating. hell, I would get wood for just them in audio only form!

but, so many cried about paying to cover cost to hear what was going on... ok, about the best we can do, due to internet limitations, content limitations, is a very generalised view, and some good audio to go with it. You wouldnt pay $2 for audio only live.... would you pay $5 for that audio and video where you could at least see wtf they were talking about? And how much would it take to get Feld to farm it out.

thats where i am thinking on this.

How much would it cost to do what MX does? If it's about cost can it possibly cost more to stream from a SX than a MX?

I think it's as much to do with how much they want to charge for a commercial during their day old coverage as it is anything else.

I suppose you could say the people that will watch are somewhat less likely to watch after seeing or even hearing it live and how much will advertisers pay to be part of old coverage their audience has already seen?
