I love AMA outdoors and more and more europeans competing over there, however that was not the subject sir. As for the facts on topic: we know Guillod, Paturel, Kullas, Butron, ect are 3-4th tier in Europa and had good results in AMA and for now we do not know how Vialle on the Honda 450 would do in AMA. 🤠

I learned on this forum that USA and the BIG outdoors is the "hart of Motorcross", so hoovering around (and breaking in) top 10's for them are good results to me.

You are not being very charitable here. Paturel’s average finish in the ama was 18th, Guillod had top tens but also had top tens in MXGP, and Harri did pretty good but his results seemed to have matched his results at his des Nations performances on the world stage.

The idea that you are pushing is nonsense.

I assume you are not taking in account that all of them rode their whole life in Europe, and just jumped on a plane and a loan bike to compete in unknown series, tracks, schedule, temperatures etc. Good thing of a forum is we don’t need to agree 🙂.  However looking forward to the outdoors!

I concede, the AMA riders suck and the series lacks depth of field. Your third tier riders can come over and smoke top tens all day.

I’d hate to see what a top tier rider like Prado or Vialle would do outdoors.

Oh wait…

Both the AMA and MXGP has extremely talented riders, and no series is easy to win in. You can’t judge a series off of a small sample of rides and make any meaningful comparisons. Best of luck to all the riders, no matter where they are from.

Thats a bit dramatical sir, ama is great and certainly doesn’t suck. I love outdoors and know that speed (in the front) is insane. The context of my statements were a reaction to Mr. Ringo is that Vialle would be a “guy” in MXGP and was all he needed to know. I can only drool about the idea that possibly Coenen, de Wolf, etc will be added to the outdoors in the future. Tip: Dutchman Roan van de Moosdijk will also race AMA’s to this year.
