I'm a big fan of Eli, and it bums me to say...but I think that's a wrap. He clearly wasn't feeling it from mid-season onward, another hard hit, another c-ship missed when he had his best shot (no Jett). Now I assume he'll miss the remaining few rounds of SX...but does he have more gas in the tank for a long hard summer of Nats? Deegs moving up. Jett is back. Hunter is on point. Chase (who knows).
We all thought we had seen the end when he had the achilles injury, but he had said "I didn't want to go out like that" but...what say you? Does he hang 'em up at this point?
Did we watch Eli's last race?

Has all this happened since he took Craigs handlebar to the groin?
Asking for a friend...
No one saw any of this, a complete and total surprise.
I voted YES. Eli races for championships, and nothing less. In his gut he has to know that the sun is fading on those odds. He's rich as hell, 3 kids at home...and there's always a big injury possibility. Maybe he retires and just randomly does one-off races to scratch the itch. I also think that if he does retire, he'll vanish ala JS7 for a few years before returning as some sort of ambassador role. Just my .02.
We thought so after Denver '23. I don't think any of us are in Eli's head, but I don't think he wants to go out like that.

I want to see him at this years MXON @ Ernée!
3 years ago I declared Eli would never win another SX race.
Go ahead and count him out -
His insta says he’ll be back soon. It has seemed like he was less motivated for outdoors the last year or 2, but I’m not buying it. In fact, I would suggest that what has happened in SX this season would drive him to go all in on outdoors.
Is this actually a thought in people's heads? He said he will be back soon. He gets the benefit of the doubt from me, he has always been a man of his word and he is not the type to post something he doesn't mean. He's not Sexton or Prado. He will show up. I think we see him in Denver if I had to guess. He will be there for nationals (barring another incident).
SMX Thunder Ridge will be his last race. Stamp it.
The transformation from Motodrive to RON RON MX is complete
He literally just said “be back soon”
Guys what’s wrong with you all😂
All I know is I want to see some Beastmode rides on that KTM!
EDIT: (In the Nationals!)
