Been riding since 1972, and yes, learning is very hard on seats until you learn to catch them. Even then it's no guarantee you won't drop it occasionally depending on the circumstance.

About 10 years ago or so, my son's best friend asked if I'd ride it for a video project he was doing for school. Being about 8 into a 12 pack, I asked if he wanted funny or just me riding. He didn't care, so I went with funny.

I didn't intend to fall, but I went with it.

I was pumping up bike tires today and remembered this thread. I checked in to see if I was up or down from last count 😂. I'm down 3, downsizing buddy lol. Kids MX and dual sport bikes plus a unicycle went to his house. But I gained a PW50 😎 So I lost 5 but gained 2 back. 51 down to 48.  For you guys just tuning in the "stupid question for fun" is How is many tires do you own ?

*I don't think anybody's going to beat Newmann (RIP) at 113 "Plus"  😔

I forgot about this thread.

I didn’t post back then. But I used to have 5 semis on the road ( don’t EVER make that mistake ! ). Combined with everything else I think I had over 130.

Just counted, now I’m down to 88 personally , I think.

Then if you add in work, i just have 5 more right now, but they run 165lbs.

How often do you check tire pressures ?
My wife told me this weekend the low psi light lit up on her genesis. So I drug the compressor out and aired all four up. (One was down about 5 psi) Then I figured I might as well do the work truck too since I had everything all set up, and probably the trailer and camper too, then the dual sports, dirt bikes, bicycles etc, so I got to thinking if I aired up every tire I own, how many would I have to blow up ? Counting bikes, cars, spares, trailers, dolly's etc, any tire that takes air, how many would I have to do ?
For me it would be 47 tires, plus the airbags on the camper make 49 things that I need the psi checked. Blink No, I didn't get to them all. If you were check the psi on every tire you own how many would you have to do ?

sumdood - 49

Saw his pop up and the first thing I thought was why don't you count your cylinder compression in that count? That might bring you up over 50

The Shop

I just did my cargo trailer. 8 ply, 100 bucks a piece. They were 9 years old, looked ok but one had a little slice starting in the sidewall. I’ve been putting it off for a couple years…

I let the first set go about 8 years, Then I saw some small sidewall cracks getting ready for a trip and ran my hand along the back side just to see if I could feel anything and cut myself. For whatever reason the steel belts were sticking out around the whole sidewall, the tires looked like they needed a haircut 😄. My trailer only has one axle so now I do them when I do the camper tires at 5 years.
