[color=blue]For all of you attending the PHX SX, we are hosting a private ride day on Friday at Grindingstone MX, in Fountain Hills. It's a short drive from PHX & is one of the best tracks AZ has to offer, IMHO (not spamming for GS, I just like the place). It will be $20 at the gate & goes from 8 AM 'til 2 PM. This ride is CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC! Please do not post this on any other boards, or I will lock it down to only people I know. We do this every year & usually get 70-100 riders, and we don't want it to get out of hand. I rode there yesterday & it was excellent. For you "Supercross wannabees", you will probably prefer one of the other tracks. This place is old-school moto, with sand, lots of Natural Terrain transitions, ruts, braking/acceleration bumps, & not many "do-or-die" jumps (none, really). I had a blast out at this ride day a couple years ago. Grindingstone is one hell of an awesome track! Im really hoping to make it out there this friday since I couldnt make it last year. Hope to see you guys there!

Hey I'm gonna be up at McDowell riding mountain bike on Friday. I may swing by and snap some pics if you don't mind. I think my mildly retarded step-nephew Rupert is planning to go too, along with his youngest spawn, Tommy.

Older son Joey coming with me.He's the more difficult one. Brooding.

Disenchanted. Computer weenie. Decent rider. Fanatical about his controls

Was out at GS this weekend and the dirt was epic, not hard packed like it used to be. Can't wait to ride it without the quadtards. See you guys there.

[color=blue] Was a great time! All those who missed it should be bummed (Rat!). Mike from NM (don't remember his screen name) was absolutely flying! It was cool as hell seeing/hearing Doc, Robert, Tim(workspilot), Mike (FGR), Chris(BDW), & Brett(RetVet) wring out those 2-strokes. The track was awesome, we had a good turnout (about 100 riders, according to the sign-up sheet), & no big crashes that I know of. The party was more subdued this year, but still a great turn out, & the Suites were once again great for SX. We hit ET yesterday to complete the weekend. My buddies from Alaska just headed to the airport & I'm already looking forward to next year. Thanks again to Doc, the guys at Grindingstone, my wife for all the work she put in, & everyone who came out to have fun with us. I'll post up some pics later...//TJ[/color]

Thanks to you and Dr. Mark for putting it all together. Can't wait to come out next year and do it all over again! Those suites are the way to go at the race, that was a blast!
