Same here, just went and checked. 

Found messages that I had zero indication of.

So apologies to those that I didn't reply back to asap.

Working fine for me on Android and PC.

I’ve had the “you’ve got messages” showing when they’re were no msgs that had many been read.

We implemented a fix for this. Please let me know if you're seeing the problem.

Not sure I understand. Was the notification showing that you have mail, even though you had no unread messages?

My box was showing I had no mail when I did. I deleted the mail and emptied my box. But when I did that, it showed I had one message when I didn’t have any messages. It was like that for a week or so , but it cleared a few days ago. So I’m good now.

That's what I have right now. It shows I have 2 messages but when I click on the envelope, nothing new. I should also say it's showing that way on the computer and the phone.

It looks like some of you have very old unread messages (might take some scrolling to see them). Please check.

But last week it didn't show I have any mail

So I found some really old messages. You were right. I wonder why It just now showed up.

I suspect the message has been there the whole time. The site wasn't consistently displaying an "unread message" notification next to the mail icon, so you probably didn't know you had the message. We just implemented a fix to that problem.

Ok, new issue. Even after clearing all the old emails, now I keep getting a notice that there's a new email when there's not. If read the new email (if there's one) it won't reset the envelope till I touch another members last dm. But the next time I visit Vital the alert is back but no new email.

Same here. I call it “Ghost Mail”. 

Same here. I've got mail but nothing unread in there.

I find it's worse on my phone, not so much on my computer.

Side note, how you holding up?

Yup, android phone. Also struggling with posting comments (this only started today) I hit the "Submit" button and nothing happens. Now im having to first copy. Then refresh the page, then paste and finally hit "Submit" again. 

Like I said, this issue only started today and is intermittent. 

Thanks for asking TM, I'm doing better by just excepting our current situation. I mean, why bother about shite that I can't control, I have my cat feeding and housing project which I find rewarding, which also takes my mind off the negative shite. 

Fingers crossed that my wife will land a job soon. That will definitely alleviate almost all our problems.
