I get the frustration but it's seriously two clicks and it's in English man. The little box in the upper right that looks like text in a box is all it takes.

Its all about data collection and geo location.
Once I moved into a gated community I started getting my feed in English. But my neighbors all report me for HOA violations now.
So there are tradeoffs.

Lol bro I get it, and I don't know why either. My TV always starts on English LIKE IT SHOULD, but my iPhone and iPad always revert to Spanish. It's definitely annoying.
Dear Peacock/Broadcast team,
Please add a "Commentary Off" option next to the English and Spanish options. That's the simplest fix available. Just send the venue mics to the switcher.
As I mentioned in another post, I've changed to the Spanish feed and just turned it down slightly so I can hear the bikes. I have no clue what they're saying but those guys are way more chill to listen to.
That's not entirely true. Half of the talking heads on TV certainly watch it on weekends they aren't part of the broadcast. They are in important meetings.
This should be printed to paper and stapled to the foreheads of every over paid executive decision makers who run the broadcast.
