Good evening everyone,

I just picked up a 2023 YZ250. It has 15 hours on it and I am jacked. I am seeing if anyone is interested in trading my set of complete blue wheel/hubs for a black set. I will cover shipping both ways.

You will more than likely find someone to take you up on that, but if not, you could buy a new set of wheels and sell yours. Shopping both ways will probably cost you the difference between a trade for used and buying brand new.
Just a thought

Yeah I thought about that. But looking at building a new wheel set through Dubya or other reputable brands was pretty steep. KKE and Tusk are reasonably priced but I’m not too sure on the quality.

I like the way the blue looks. But for the build I want to do the black looks better IMO. It’s been 12 years since I’ve owned a bike so I’m itching to build it and get out there in a few weeks!

I had the Tusk wheels on my CRF for 5 years and another set on my YZ for 4 with 0 issues. You can also do the Dubya Edge wheelset that is step above the tusk wheels for $755 with code PULPMX. Both will have blue hubs though but are worth considering.

Rats, I have a spare set of wheels right now that I'd love to trade you with, but they're both silver Sad

How would you feel about trading 1 full wheel set + spare hubs to build while you ride the silvers in the meantime? Can always sell the spare wheels or keep em!

Let me chew on this some. I’d rather just trade for blacks but this isn’t a bad idea.

KSR wheels has a $799 package with DID wheels and billet hubs.

Dubya has their edge wheel sets at $839

Both are priced well and are good quality products.

You can sell your wheels for $500-$600 pretty easy from what I’ve seen.

Yeah didn't mention it because they were a little hit and miss availability wise but this is a pretty great deal from yamaha considering you get the sprocket and rotor too... Screenshot 20260305-064518 1.png?VersionId=czE9PMIIAA530PqNcU

The Monster edition has same blue rims as normal edition.   The Special 50th (white/purple) and 70th (white/red) bikes have the black rims.

The only bad thing is the anniversary (black) wheel sets are on back order without an ETA.

Yeah, I thought they were black on monster as well. That’s why I mentioned it originally.
