Listen, no disrespect to your family. But, he's had his "shot"........It didnt work out. Let some deserving American talent get their shot now.

Who? And don't give me some bullshit like Jason Lawrence. Which "deserving" American talent that is not already tied to a team that they would not want to drop for a part time non-paying gig would you recommend? This should be good.

TiLube losing Wey was a fairly big deal to them last year. If I'm in charge there, I tell my riders you're welcome to accept a part time non-paying gig with the factory, just know you will not be riding for us when your part-time non-paying gig is up in a few weeks.

Edit: Otherwise, yes I would agree that Goerke would be a better choice than Moss.

Well said. People here watch too much of 'The Hills'.

The Moss boys have had their chance in the US? I don't think so. Didn't both Matt (out all season?) and Jake have injuries last season? I think Matt would be top 3 SX lites for sure.

Yeah like who? Josh Hansen or JLaw? How many "shots" have those "deserving" Americans have?

Check out the Canberra round of the SuperX where Moss catches Windham, IN THE MUD !! but losses his front wheel a few corners later.

Sounds like sour grapes to me.

If Hansen is not riding west, it would be good to see a rematch between these 2. I got a feeling Hansen may be riding 450's all season for PC. Just something I heard. And why is there 5 PC riders? They always run 2 each coast and with Kawie dropping PC for FMF, could be a grudge match.

I would hardly call what the Moss boys had over there as a "shot". I mean Jake came off a broken back to put in some great results on the TLD team then bust out 2 podiums out of 3 rides outdoors, and even managed one of the most comical get offs him history at southwick? when his bike was spewing oil and he slipped off the seat.

Then Matt, also coming off a broken back and smashed to bits wrist rode the 450 through pain all outdoor season, well below his ability.

Matt and Jake, fit and healthy and on good equipment are top 5 contenders in any dirt sickle race in the world against anyone. There nationality has nothing to do with speed.

JLaw has won a SX championship, he is/was deserving .
Hansen won Xgames twice and also tied for a 125 SX championship.
He also just won a championship down under.
He is definitely deserving.
Moss would be farther then those guys from deserving. He has has never won or tied for shit here in the States in SX.

Hansen is signed up to race the Lites Class.
He should be lining up Saturday Night -Lites West.

As for deserving.... I already mentioned 'Izoird' in this thread.

"I would rather someone like Izoird who got 25th in the points in the Sx class last year get the ride (or someone like him).
I think he only did 5 or 6 rounds (on the West) also ,and I'm sure if he would have done more rounds he would have placed higher in the standings.
He also rode a KX450.
It would be cool to see what a guy like him could do being thrown under a factory tent with all the resources."

I hope Hanny punches him in his face again. We dont need people like him or his brother over here. They've had their "shots" already. We get it, you arent comptetitive here in America. Stay back home and be top 5. You wont even qualify for the main's here. I can tell you this, Factory Kawi isnt making any fans lately. Mike Fisher is pretty much the most unliked person in mx. And doubt me, I know things.
i'll bet you a $100 that he qualifies for every main he enters, except injury.

What do you say

$100 for you, for every main he doesn't make

$100 for me every main he makes

put your money where your mouth is

Kawasaki must have liked what Moss did for them last them he filled in because he is back. His results in the 2009 450 nationals far outweigh anything theses other so called "more deserving" riders have produced.

I don't get the hate for Jake. I like him even more because he got into scraps with Hanny and J-law. Laughing

1). This very much a part time job. It sounds like what you might call a "good fracture".

racerxonline Racer X
Jake Weimer is two weeks away from another arm diagnosis, and then perhaps a set timetable on a return.

2). Whoever the replacement rider might be only starts work at Phoenix.

racerxonline Racer X
Don't expect a Weimer replacement until Phoenix. It won't be a PC rider--the PC250 team historically has never fielded 450 replacements

If you think a couple outdoor podiums in a series with some of the top/fast guys out ,far outweight winning SX Lites races ,championships, or tying for a championship.
Then you have a lot to learn.

Here is Moss's...Career Results:
2010 20th (ESX), 82nd (MX)
2009 14th (ESX), 15th (450MX)
2008 18th (ESX), 13th (MX Lites)
2007 34th (MX Lites)

Ok, name one rider with your credentials of "winning SX Lites races ,championships, or tying for a championship" who is not already contracted and set with a ride. Moss is IMO a better fill in option than Billy Mac, Izoird and others mentioned in this thread. There are not many guys who can fill in who are not tied to some sort of deal that will bail for a no pay fill in job.

Shane,I never said he was a bad fill in.
If you follow the thread,my reply where I mentioned Hanny & JLaw was a reply to what the dude said about Hanny & Jlaw.

I just thought that was funny,so I replied to your comments.

However, this is SX and I already said who I would put on the bike.
Someone who has not had a shot.

Some of the americans in this thread need to take the stars and stripes out
of their eyes and realize moss is the best replacement rider not under contract
right now and definitely has the capability to do well in 450 sx.

We are two different wavlengths, no worries. I never said Moss' outdoor podiums were better than championships, X games wins, and lites wins. My "more deserving" comment had to do with some of the names people were tossing out Billy Mac, Izoird, etc. and that Moss IMO has more to offer than those guys. His seasons have been ravaged by injuires but he has had flashes of crazy speed. Any rider with your stats already has a job and was never available for the fill in job.
