Explain to me why they shouldn't bring back Semis

Personally a hill that i will die on... I want day qualifiers back damnit... but back to the semis, i miss semis because that's where some lesser known legends were born after they had badass 125 careers.... guys who were Semi race assassins... Damon Huffman, Mike Laracco in his later years (with his terrible ass starts), Nick Wey's, Ryan Clarks etc.... that's where some of these dudes got famous... now days we dont have these guys.
