Just purchased a brand new 2026 CRF250R off the showroom floor. Currently doing some cosmetic modifications and noticed that some parts of the engine seem to have been grinded down or damaged? Wondering if this is common to see on new bikes or if I should be concerned? Thanks!

(Update) After some research, it looks like these are just some clean up marks from the removal of excess casting at the factory. Regardless, that one on the left is quite deep.. wondering if that might be something to worry about and if it will affect the integrity of the motor?

Nah....totally fine.  Cleaning up the casting marks is common and nothing to worry about.
