Wanted to see what some people on here thought about this. I was replacing the counter shaft seal on my 24 KX450 (64 hours). The collar ended up being seized and impossible to remove so I drilled a hole in the counter shaft seal and ran a screw into the hole so I could pull the screw and pull the CS seal out. I was able to get the CS seal out but I f’d up and ended up running the screw too deep and poked the seal of the bearing that sits just behind CS seal. Just trying to figure out if this is  a major issue or if I should I run it and see what happens. I’ve noticed that other brands don’t have a sealed bearing so I’m curious why Kawi has a sealed bearing there. Any input is much appreciated. Clean really well and seal it  Your going to put a seal over it  If its going to leak I would guess drops until you need to split cases

i would pull the orange bearing seal out & just have the case seal & o ring to prevent leaking & let the good time's roll The bearing will get plenty of oil

Looks to me like it won't hurt anything as long as the screw didn't go into the bearing and damage one of the balls or the race, and it looks like it did not, so you should be good
