At this stage, the engine is ready to go back into the frame.
I finally had my son-in-law help me get the engine, installed back into the frame a little bit of a challenge but overall it went pretty smooth. The bike is really coming together quite nicely.

Starting the final assembly, installing the pipe, silencer side panels and different miscellaneous items. I still have to rebuild the carburetor and re-block. Install a new clutch. And rebuild a new seat onto the original seat pan.

I got a new seat cover for Christmas. My wife is good to me. Will be working on finishing up restoring the seat pan to seat foam should be good. And then installing the new seat cover. But that will have to wait until after a Florida vacation.

Also, I think the carburetor rebuild will probably have to wait until after we get back from Florida.
I ended up having time to finish the carburetor and test fit it on the bike.

The carburetor and reed valve is rebuilt and back in the bike.
Looks showroom new. Awesome build!
thank you.
I got the front sprocket installed and also the chain. Also had to rebuild the Kickstarter. As it was frozen in place would not move.
Rebuilding the seat. Using the original seat pan and hardware. Original seat foam. Installing new seat cover.

Got the seat done and test fit it onto the bike. The bike is pretty much done. Just waiting on the shocks to come back from rebuild.
OK I have not posted anything about this build in a little while. But I have a major update. I am going in completely different direction with the suspension on this bike.
I have been lucky to find and purchase the real. Correct factory show of forks, and Shocks.
The forks were delivered, and I’m still waiting on the Shocks.
The forks were already serviced and refurbished. But I had to sandblast and repaint the triple clamps.
I was able to takeoff the Simons forks, and install the 39 mm showa forks last night. I’m very happy with the bike. Can’t wait for the Shocks to arrive so I can finish this project.

These are the shocks I will be installing on the bike after they are refurbished. They are the same Shocks that were on the factory RC Hondas in 1979.
