I'm not talking about his publicity photos. I'm talking about his longevity and persistence in the sport. He hasn't exactly grown up in MX with a silver spoon in his mouth. In my book, he's one tough guy.

he just played chicken with millsaps and neither one of them let off and millsaps had the upper hand on the inside...its racing....but he might take him out in the main who knows

He never claims to be thug. The photos are comical and intended that way. Add 4 or 5 zeros to your check and you'll take whatever photos the payee asks of you. How many tattoos or piercings you see him flashing? What about photos next to a 7 series with a phat watch on? Not a single one. It would be hard to find someone more down to earth/grounded in this sport, especially someone on their own without their parents watching every move.

It's not like I was throwing insults or getting personal, I was just pointing a few things out. In compariosn to Evans, who comes off more street? I'm not taking anything serious, just showing the other side off the coin. I don't recall a post telling someone they were completely wrong, I've just presented a different POV. What about videos or interviews of 27, they are nothing close to street and for the most part, articulate, funny and very thankful for what has gotten him here. Other than comedic photos, nothing else from him comes off that way. If you were talking Evans, you would have no argument here. I don't even care for Reed, but any rider that comes to the gate busted up like him derserves a little credit.
