My 10yr old will be racing Spring a ding for the first time in the 65's and 85's. Camworx's video they did really made it look like so much fun. Just checking to see if any moto dads and kids are planning as well. Im not sure what to expect.

Freestone - Underground - BillaDilla are having a spring series during that time, all great tracks in Texas. We might race a few of those or Ding, not sure yet.

As far as the Ding, I think they have a supercross portion and motocross portion. There will be alot of fast riders there. But it is a MPG event, so it will be expensive.

Weather could be perfect or wind and rain, you never know in Texas. Motocross track is Sandy, so scoop tire for sure. It will get gnarly rough. Supercross portion is hard pack and looks to be more technical and bigger jumps than Mini Os.

Freestone had around 800 entries last weekend for opening round of Texas Winter Series. Underground is this weekend, round 2. Kids like the Playground races (spring a ding) they do all kinds of stuff for entertainment, but you will pay for it.

Yeah it’s gonna be 810 just in entry fees for him to race mx and sx.

We found an air bnb not far from the track that we booked. The wife will be with us and she’s not about camping without a camper. My son and I are good in the sprinter van ha.
