The bottom signature is DeCoster - here's another of my RM tanks that he signed. Roger was kind enough to sign a few tanks and jerseys for me over the years. He's truly a great representative of our sport. I'm hoping someone will confirm who I think did the top signature on my original post. (It isn't James Stewart; regretably, I've never met him.)

I have a few hundred items (maybe 1000?) like this. I have 2 identical RM tanks signed by DeCoster and by one other rider, and I'm not sure which one signed this one - it's one of 2 riders, and the other tank has the other rider's signature. I ran across this tank while cleaning my shed, and haven't found the other tank yet. I keep the gas tank in boxes, and apparently I need to be better at labeling! Best Wishes!
I'm hoping someone will i.d. it without me suggesting who it is (I don't want to affect the experiment by suggesting the results - it's the classical physicist in me...) It's one of 2 riders who were racing SX around 2012-2015. Thanks!
If you know it's one of two riders, then you're not affecting the results because it's not an experiment, it's a coin toss. If you just say it's either rider X or rider Y, someone will chime in saying they have that rider's autograph so you can compare. Members of this site have identified some really obscure bike parts for people over the years, an autograph should be easy if they have an idea of what they're looking t.

Thank you! Yes - he was reluctant to sign it, because it wasn't from his era. He and Roger were visiting a motorcycle museum where some of my bikes were on display.
