Small update as of December:

G'day guys and girls. Hello from Australia. I've nearly finished playing with my 2000 model YZ250, and I've been posting some videos on Youtube during the build process. I decided to strip the frame back to raw steel, and clear coat it so it doesn't rust. I've also fitted the swingarm, 25mm rear axle/rear hub and brakes from a 2011 YZ250F, and done a 270mm upgrade for the front brakes, amongst a few dozen other things including an aluminium fuel tank.
Part 1 - determining what needs to be done with this bike I've bought.
Part 2 - home made carbon fibre engine mounts.
Part 3 - subframe stripped back to raw aluminium.
Part 4 - DID Dirt Star ST-X gold rims and Pirelli MX32 tyres.
Part 5 - lightweight seat modifications (what a waste of time).

Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Part 6 - cleaning up the white airbox.
Part 7 - ditching the hideous Chinese radiators and fitting some OEM ones.
Part 8 - 270mm oversize front brake disc fitted, and CR-style front brake hose (later replaced with a Galfer one, as this one sucks).
Part 9 - stripping the frame back to raw steel, and clearcoated it. I change my mind about six times during this video, but I'm stoked with the end result.
Part 10 - rebuilding the rear shock.
Part 11 - Chaparral graphics on my aluminium fuel tank.
Part 12 - 2011 YZ250F swingarm and rear hub, 25mm rear axle, new rear brake master cylinder and caliper.
Time to get it dirty!
Definitely! I ride off-road so I know it's gonna get beaten up, but that is what it's for. Couple more finishing touches before I skull-drag it over some logs and rocks.
Part 13 - fitting Boyesen clutch and alternator covers.
Part 14 - ceramic-coated Pro Circuit Works expansion chamber, and R-304 muffler.
Little update pic:
Bike is 99% finished, been flat out with the rally car racing season but finally got back in the garage. I have a couple of finishing touches to do, then this rocket is ready to party.
