Anybody know much about this race? I'm not planning on racing but would love to come check it out with my 11-year old daughter who loves moto. Is it good for spectating? Kind of a research mission to see what it's like. What class is good for a 58-year old on a 2004 RM250 if I race in the future (no haters 😄). I'm wondering how gnarly the course is. Dragging my bike over boulders all day doesn't sound fun, for example, but a good off-road race would be a blast.

I've raced it the last 2 years. It's a good course! Some technical side hill riding and decent downhills. Some super fast sections too. Not a boulder-heavy course, but there's a small creek section that's pretty easy to navigate. Should be good conditions and I saw they cut some new trail in. I raced Wilseyville up that way a couple weeks ago and the dirt was prime. As far as spectating, it's club-specific I think. Last couple years you've been able to get around and watch, but at Wilseyville this year they had things locked down a bit. You'd be in Super Senior if you decide to race.

As said it’s a fairly new place for D36. It’s only used for the race so it’s not all beat up. Great property that the club is able to utilize. It is a little on the fast side. I haven’t been there in a couple of years but the spectating in the past was good. I drove through the area a few days ago and the fog was pretty thick.

Thanks dudes- it looks like weather is pretty clear this weekend with no rain.

Fast might be better than a lot of tight technical stuff for me at this point. Man, I'm getting tempted to just run it. I wouldn't just jump into a motocross race right now but this might be a bit mellower.

Im not familiar with D36 events but im sure they are pretty much like any other harescramble, just race it. You can race Super Senior and youll be fine, you have a huge range of skill level at hare scrambles. Some people are hauling ass and some people are barely making a lap around the track as long as your somewhere in that range you'll have a blast.

I raced moto for 40 years, arenacross etc. It would probably be fine.

I raced it when it was first added and then again last year. It was much tighter and a lot rougher last year. Lots of ruts and square edge rock. Off camber hills through trees. There were very few open fast parts so I didn’t enjoy riding it as much. It’s a cool area, I think spectating is ok but I don’t remember any big gathering areas around cool features. So all I can add is that it can go either way for both spectating and riding 😅
