Who cares if it is or isn't? The first rule of buying a used bike is never but a pro's used bike. Period.

I think plenty of the support type teams would sell off bikes like this. I remember seeing several teams selling their race bikes. They were all brought up to race condition, but they were selling for something like $10,000 or more. I wouldn't drop $3,000 on it now though.

The certificate of origin pic does show that Moto XXX is who took delivery of it when new.

Hi Brad and TerryK
Im the guy in the picture above.. I got the honor to work for Timmy and Motoxxx. He is an Animal.

This bike looks like one of Red Dogs bikes... MotoXXX would sell all last years team bikes at the end of the season to pay bills. These bikes are usually rebuilt from the ground up and ready for the new owner.

Red Dog used mostly bolt on parts you can buy from the team sponsors that year, motoxxx used stock hubs with excel rims. The motors were built in house by the team manager Allan Brown. ps: anybody needing a fast motor built call Brown Motors

The only thing Timmy did have special with his race bike that year was 2 Showa Kit Suspension and Timmy bought it with his own money so at at the end of the season he got them back.
