Honda wins again. Kendall Norman and Quinn Cody blistered down to La Paz to take the overall and the 1x plate.

The 8x bike ridden by Colton Udall, who had the points lead, hadn't finished yet. His Teammate Justin Imhof had a huge getoff late last night around Loreto and was being airlifted.

Ricky Johnson who teams with some of fastest 40 year old desert guys on the planet finished 2nd overall first in class. Amazing.

The Factory KTM effort? Well lets just say Baja isn't as easy as it looks...

Another way of saying KTM had some bad luck?
I have been tuned in to the 1000 since Larry Berquist won it on a knobby-equipped Honda 350 street bike, like in 1968?
That race scares the crap outta me!

luck is preparation meeting opportunity....

Honda wins because they are extremely "lucky". Another great job by johnny and his crew.

Having owned a few Hondas, and loving them, I have to say it seemed Honda could never win Baja while Kawasaki was still running with the mighty KX500. They've been on a roll lately though. Congrats to all the finishers.

Congrats to Team Honda! They had a smokin lead!

On another note, our thoughts and prayers go out to Justin and his family. Justin has not regained concious yet. He is an extremely talented young man and we hope to see him back on his bike in no time.
