I would keep putting gas in it until the tank is full!

Make sure you mix the Cam 2 at 32:1 with this.

It all depends on your compression ratio and and if you modifyed the timing, compression ratio eg. 12:1 you need at least 94 octane. this is simple math to figure out the ratio of cam 2 to 87 or 93, you can even use avgas (100LL) 103 octane rating for highway rating, 100 is aviation rating you can get it at your local airport which is $6.6981/ gal i just bought 1.5 gallons yesterday for my car, runs great 3:1.5 (87:103) anyways to figure out how much you need for ex. 3 gal. 93 / 1 gal. Cam2 110... 93 * 3 = 279 + 110 * 1 = 379 / 4 = 94.75 Octane. Multiply both octanes by both gallons of each octane, add together and divide by the total gallons mixed.. or ex. a=110 x=gal. of 110 b=93 y=gal. of 93 c=# to divide by total gal. z=total gal. mixed v=mixed octane... (a * x) + (b * y) = c / z = v (110*1) + (93*3) = 379/4 = 94.75 octane

As noted above Cam2 is 110 octane. I run 2Gal of Cam2 for every 3gal of 93. So 99.8 Octane with R50. Thanks for the equation by the way.

Oh I run 40:1 too.

Without attempting to piss on ANY-ONE's Knowledge and to be VERY fair to the Original Poster and his Q:

You don't really get an actual Octane Number WITHOUT having the "mixed" Fuel TESTED.

Period.

The Chemical Constituency of modern fuels is soooooooooo complex that it's the properties of those chemicals and how the react to & with each-other that determines your Fuel's actual "Rating".

&..then there's the Oxygen content which is another animal to deal with.

Sad; but, VERY true.

You can know the "Ratings" if you use your Fuels WITHOUT messing with them; however, a few Fuel Co's DO provide some Rating to Mix ratios that're very helpful.

Good luck.

Btw, it seems that the original intent was to use the Cam 2 as a sort of "Stabilizer" or "Insurance"...also...soda can = 12 ounces.

I'm jus' guessin'...

Signed,

A guy that actually tests fuels at the "Experimental" level.
