Mitchell Thelen from Marshall TX. #20 has always been my number. Started racing in 2001 on a CR125 when the lone star series traveled to different tracks. Raced at Village, Four States, Whitney, etc (hate that I never made it to Mosier). Raced the Pro Challenge in 2011 on my 08 CRF450 (the year Trey Canard won) I finished in the high 30's, lol. Never been the fastest, but I can win some motos when the fast guys don't show up! I've been on the gate with Mitchell Oldenburg, Jeremy Martin, Tommy Hahn, Trey Canard and some other gnarly dudes that I never saw after the first turn, haha! I wouldn't trade my moto memories for nothing!
Raced mostly at Swan over the years due to it being close to home. Raced +25A and +30A in the lone star series in 2019 and 2021 on my 2015 KTM 250SX, at that point it all races were at Swan so I haven't raced around DFW in a long time. I turn 40 years old tomorrow, excited to be eligible for a new class! Lol
My son raced with me in 2019 and 2021, he's 14 now and we want to get back out there, but life is expensive and work is busy. Hope to see y'all again soon!
I am not at the race today so I will not be able to give updates in live time. I will watch social media and put some stuff in here throughout the day!
Thanks!

Caption is a little confusing but it looks like Max Shane was second overall in both classes, wow!!! Very impressive against some national pro competition!
This year's Pro Challenge was a great event. The Moe Family and the crew at Swan MX did an excellent job. Munn Racing's Diesel Thomas ran up front all weekend, and fun was had by all
Diesel gave em hell. In moto 2 of 250 Pro, he was in the mix the whole race. Didn't let Short off the hook and ended up on the box. That was a really fun race to watch.

Forgettable weekend for Harlan for sure. Not sure what happened on Sunday but I hope he is healthy.
Glad to see Izaih Clark had one good moto, he had front runner speed all weekend.
I'm thinking Ryder Floyd was on his 250 in both classes, looked like the same bike to me. 250 vs 450 is a big disadvantage at Swan.
Looks like a lot of tough luck in 450 moto 2. Lot of DNF's and DNS's.
Kade Johnson is coming on at the right time. He looks rock solid out there! Strong on the bike. Big kid too. Will be interesting to see where his fundamentals and work ethic can take him in the pro ranks.
I know Harlan went down on one of the starts and was really slow to get up. Maybe he was just beat up a little bit for the weekend.
Pretty good showing for Broc Walker.
#24 Owen Covell had some serious speed, didn't realize who he was til I looked him up and saw he won B classes at LL, so it makes sense. Pro classes were strong this year. My kid had to ride his PW after both pro mains, so no excuses for anyone saying tracks are rough, they got around it with 2.5" of travel lol.
