Vintage DG helmet info

Hello I was hoping maybe someone could help me with identifying the value of this helmet or where I could take it to be appraised or Possibly sold? It is NOT A REPRO! I believe it was worn personally by Bob Hannah because of the color scheme. From what I have read this color scheme was not a factory stock that year. If anyone has info or if I am wrong please feel free to let me know! I appreciate all your help and time!

As an FYI-- there were a bunch of DG team riders back in that time frame that wore the same Team helmets. . Is there a particular reason you think that this one was worn by the Hurricane?

Well because I acquired it from a storage auction in Phoenix Arizona which is where he retired.

DG sold those helmets to the general public. They were well advertised in their catalogs.

As mentioned they were worn by sponsered riders back in the day, MX and BMX. Could be private purchased as well. Although most likely not Hannah's originals are desirable and worth $.

I thought he retired to Idaho? Hes there now and has been for years? Anyway I'd put it on ebay I bet you'll get a good buck. Its cool no matter whos it was!

KRW was the first supplier and the Premier. I may have that backwards. I guarantee you, if Hannah wore that for any length of time it wouldn't look like that. Hannah, Williams, Denton, Glover, Bauer, Eropkin all wore them but I don't think beyond 1976. You have a nice little collectable there. Let me know if you decide to sell it.

Sorry dude--  wasn't my post/not my helmet -- I just asked the OP why he thought it was Hannah's .  Also this thread is 5+ years old lol.
