With all due respect to you and others here who don't like the president: I get it, you don't have to like him, a lot of people don't like him, nor do a lot of people who voted for him like him.
With that said, WHAT WERE OUR OPTIONS? Do you really feel that Kamala Harris, Biden, or Waltz were better choices? Is that why you are here bagging on the President because you wish we had Kamala instead? We had two options, pick one.
I believe more in what the current president stands for. Which is closed borders, tough on crime, getting rid of criminals and illegals who don't pay taxes and are flooding our healthcare system, getting rid of reverse discrimination (DEI), foreign policy, and 2nd amendment.
I believe it's going just about as good as it can considering the current sad state of our Country, and stuff doesn't happen over night. I do not like increasing the deficit, but what would Kamala have done??
I'm very familiar with your area as I used to live up there. That was a time where we could leave our keys in the car, leave our front door wide open with just a screen door, not worry about locking up our bicycles and skateboards on the front lawn, etc. That is how life should be, and the only way we'll get there is with a government who's hard on crime.
As you know, the left encourages crime here with their light on crime/no punishment policies. As a result, we have nightly home invasions, daily smash and grabs, people sawing off catalytic converters, cars and bicycles stolen every night, etc.
Which presidential option is going to get us closer to where things used to be??

Fact is we (I) voted for a guy who hasn't really followed through on anything other than the low hanging fruit, which unsurprisingly, is painting a border fence and terrorizing both legal and undocumented people of color with ICE raids. Did Trump raid the JBS meat processing plants, or Tyson Foods? How about the major hotel chains and their hiring practices? Did ICE raid them? We both know that answer is no, too much donor money coming in from them. But at least some California produce growers and some small time contractors were busted though, really helping solve the issue for sure.
Is the president tough on crime when he is actively protecting child molesters? Does allowing a Republican majority to sweep it under a rug again (literally while a guy had just been executed in front of a ton of people) shout "I'm tough on crime!"?

I'm aware of the "Epstein files" and the binders. I don't pretend to know what's in them, or if they incriminate anyone else. For someone that disparages "whataboutisms" you're making some very strong assumptions about this one, even if it's a mainstream conspiracy.
I make no assumptions, I go off of actions. If said files were/are so benign, why the secret vote to keep them sealed? Why not just throw it all out there for the world to see if it's a nothing burger?

Everyone would love to have their perfect president and form of government, but we are far from that. I already mentioned a lot of people who voted for the current president don't necessarily like him or like everything he does. We can agree on some things that I don't like about him or the way he handles things. But like I asked before, what were our options? It seems every politician is corrupt in some way, unfortunately. And so what is your solution now to the problem? Impeach him and go with JD Vance? Or, are you continuing on because you wanted Kamala and think she would be better with her list of issues?
Most likely because the media will take a flight log where Epstein and Trump were on a plane together and spin it into the conspiracy the left is foaming at the mouth for. And then we'll see more assassination attempts on the president and more cities burned to the ground.

I hear you, and I believe we are on the same page for the most part. But I don't think we'll ever get exactly what we want unless there was a full blown revolution/overthrow. So until then, we kind of have to pick the best of the worst, and we usually only have two options right? So pick the option that best aligns with your values for the Country and hope we get some of what they promised. Expecting anything more than that will likely lead to disappointment.
This isn't something the president posts on his Facebook page when things are going well.

Same here, I was actually born in Santa Rosa California, but we moved up here when I was 3 months old. Never thought that I would ever consider moving out of this state, but I’ve been thinking a lot , that this place ain’t for me anymore. SMH
The ship is not going to get turned around though. Never in the last 25 years have things gotten better, they’ve only gotten worse at a slower or faster rate depending on what demographic you fall into.
Sure maybe trump can slow the bleeding for one demographic, but with our current system, it comes at the cost of another (robbing Peter to pay Paul). Meanwhile for the ones at the very top, the ones that got us into this mess, the ones that don’t give a F about you or your family, the ones that have no problem poisoning the food, water and even the air you breathe, the same ones that installed bush, Obama, Biden and trump as presidents, they will continue to acquire wealth, just as they’ve done the whole time and at our expense, literally.
The economy has been a sinking ship for over 3 decades. In fact I would argue that it’s already sunk. It’s being propped up by artificial means.
