I just finished listening to the Matthes podcast he didn`t do with Weigand. When they first started discussing the tv broadcasts I couldn`t believe how they should be a problem motocross should adress before other things. At least not the AMA broadcasts. But when he started to explain in detail what he wanted to do, the analysing, behind the scenes and proper in debt portraing of the sport, I have to say he made some good points! Is that what it would take to get rid of lame interviews with riders on autopilot? Would getting rid of blond girls with modified racks, replacing them with people who can ask the right questions, make interviews better? HELL YES! I honestly don`t care much for hot chicks asking dumb questions when watching mx. I honestly would like a more in-depth broadcast, analysing and longer shows. I understand that longer shows might not make it on tv, but they can do so over the internet for example. Man, I`d LOVE to see that!

This is something both the AMA and GP broadcasts should look into! I hope he tries to do something about it, through RX and MXSports! Weigand for President!

Link would've been nice. It's a good podcast though.

Sonhouse,

I agree. Get rid of the Jaimee's and the cute girls who ask stupid questions.

get interviewers who ex national champs or pro riders and who know about the sport and will ask tough questions.

no industry suck holes or sycophants.

Why not a happy medium? An attractive girl who's legitimately versed and a fan of the sport and is capable of analyzing/bench racing.

I want to see who is the "voice" in Jaime's ear, feeding her the less-than-stellar questions.

I just bet she can handle forming a relevant question for the riders.

Interviews are great but what I want to see is more Technology brought in to compare the riders.

I like how in down hill skiing how they overlay one run vs. another.

It would be interesting to see where James is faster than others.

Here is a link to a .pdf i found on the web about how they do it in Skiing , It's from 2001

infoscience.epfl.ch/record/33841/files/SkaloudLMVGMLS01.pdf

Here is the company that they talk about in the article.

Leticia Cline was a perfect example of what we need. She new her moto and was super hot. That girl amazed me with her knowledge of past and present moto. Unfortunately she wasn't to bright (outside moto)and did the Howard Stern thing and got her ass fired.
