I think everyone knows I'm an ET3 fan through and through, and if you would've shown me the stats of laps lead, moto wins, etc before the season started, I don't think I would've believed you. Because going into this MX season, I couldn't have been more hyped. I was really looking forward to what, in my mind, was the most stacked outdoor National field we'd ever seen. Chase being strong after being last year's champ and more comfortable on the KTM, Eli showing ridiculous speed in SX and commenting on how he had all this extra outdoor prep, Prado with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove, Hunter with another year under his belt, I really thought we were about to see Jett tested. But honestly, Jett made it so much more boring than it should've been. Maybe you could argue the stars didn't align, with Chase being hurt in the opening moto, and Eli and Jorge struggling to get comfortable on their bikes, but honestly this may be the clearest most consistently dominant form I've seen. I wanted a competitive season, but credit where credit is due. Hunter was impressive in his own right, and frankly the Lawrence brothers are doing to MX what the Marquez brothers are doing in MotoGP.

and he's only like 22 lol. I'm a fan of deegs but i expect him and hunter to be battling for 2nd. He'll win some motos maybe even grab an overall every so often but its going to be the Jett show for the foreseeable future. His starts, consistency and speed are going to be to much
I think this thread will be here next year as well .... Jett Dominance in '26MX...His talent level is a lot higher than those already there and the Deegs fans are going to be pretty quiet next year when he's just getting top 5's most weeks - which is more than acceptable for a 450 rookie season it has to be said
He needs to move up, enough with sandbagging the 450 class.
It was a cool season but I'm kinda bummed we didn't get the four way battle between Jett, Prado, Tomac and Chase like I thought we would. Jett is an alien though, some may think it's boring here n there, but in like 20 years they will look back and think "how cool that I witnessed a rider like that back then". The ACL thing still doesn't make any sense to me, to come back this fast and be the guy again..
The scariest thing to me this season was that he was actually ok with taking third in a moto when he didn't feel like pushing as hard

To be fair, it always turns out the same way even if the field is ”stacked” one or two guys will find a way to separate themselves from the rest.
For many years now Jett has shown hints of what he is capable of doing when he needs to and that is pretty much unmatched performance from any of his opponents so it does not come as a shocker that for most of us.
But I will tell you that the first part of the season with his Pala results were shocking to me with that little time on the bike and still beating the rest of the guys.
And as Mavetism said, Jett being okay to give up a moto now and then will make it a lot harder for the competition in the future beating him over a whole series.
His worst result this season was a 3rd in a moto before he got docked to 17th, and that just shows the level of consistency they are up against.
