Good stuff for sure!!

Pourcel will join Weimer as third guy on Monster Energy Kawi for cheap. Look for a motivated CP next year!

Honda got Josh Grant really cheap, Honda looking for outside sponsor but balked at an all-black ARMA deal.

Short was never offered a contract by Honda.

Shorty was very, very close with L&M but in the end, the promise of doing all the outdoors and a lot more money was what swayed him. Plus KTM is totally revamping it's program. Ian Harrison and maybe Goose will be at KTM next year.

L&M will be making some announcements real soon in regards to taking on a partner in the team.

They had a try-out for the second spot and Regal was by far the best guy out of the bunch. Only a second/second and a half off Stewie's time.

Yes, they rode KTM's before agreeing to Yamaha deal. Hill rode one as well.

Tedesco going to wear different gear next year. He will not be in ONE industries.

H&H has talked to Reed and a possible Yamaha bike deal but can't seem to get anything from the blue guys, even if they sign a Chad Reed.

Carlos Riveria left Honda last week but will not be back with Millsaps. Alex Ewing will wrench for Davi next year. Also, Kyle Bentley (Pourcel) will not be back with PC as well as Vince (Rattray's mechanic) who went to JDR KTM for next year.

Dungey is not very happy with Suzuki right now for letting RD and Ian go but he's not going anywhere. The big winner in all this is Goose, he's going to made very happy wherever he goes.

Stroupe has turned down H&H as well as Motoconcepts Yamaha, his dad is telling people he'll retire before he rides for nothing. Weird deal for sure.

BBMX talking to Byrner about next year. Georke in the mix as well.

Team Ti-Lube/Brown Motorsports talking about picking up Wey again next year. Kawasaki is definitely behind helping NYK out whatever he does.

PC was thisclose to signing Roczen but in the end KTM got him. They had to re-do Herlings deal though because he was very underpaid and not happy.

Searle will be with PC for west SX so they will most likely have 3 guys on each coast.

I would assume CP has one hell of a incentive for bonuses?

Also,Yamaha not wanting to help Reed is pretty lame,if you ask me....

Prolly not gonna sell to many Yami's down under,or to hardcore Reed fans all around the world. Wink

I saw Goose at a local AX race last weekend sporting a KTM hat. He was there with his boys neither of which ride a kaboom.

1.5 sec/lap is the diff between 1st and 15th so don't base anything on that, though I'm sure with more time he'll get more comfortable and faster on the heavy Yamaha.

Good for Regal though.

Damn... beat me to it. I think 1st and 15th is just a tad overboard, but 1st and 10th... absolutely. Or at least it was last season. I think 1.5 seconds could very likely be the difference between 1st and 15th this season, though, with how deep the field is.

must not have been that big of a tryout at L&M . cause if they were smart they would have went after stroupe. but i dont think LB runs the show there anymore its whatever the stewarts want. gotta have someone to make stewart look good.

Saw that the other day..

Now would Gieco also stick with the FC team or maybe Amsoil comes back in a bigger role?

Maybe Planet Fitness?

Didn't Stroupe podium once last yr in 450 SX? top 5 all other races, plus a few holeshots? With a premium put on SX prowess, this is a mind blower. Like they say, its always easier to calm down a fast guy than it is to teach raw speed.. The dude is blazing fast and seemed to be calming down, especially on a 450.
Retire, Wow!!!!!! I think both Honda and Stroupe would both do well to work out something reasonable.

Perhaps Yamaha Motor Corp. could pull a few dollars from their outboard program to help Reedy out. Wink
We know they have the money, probably not in their SX/MX race budget, but Yamaha makes more then dirt bikes. They could use Reedy as a marketing tool for many different things.Smile
He has got them Championships in the past. Wink

PS: Yamahas new outboard slogan LOL.

It seems this year more than ever that your results from last year decide where you go and what you get. Not so much what you have done in the past but more so last season. A lot of those statements make you go mmmmmmm but after you think about them, I can see the teams & riders both thinking longer about there future. Interesting stuff, thanks pb465.

Would that get them enough $$$ to pull off a Chad Reed signing?
