I can understand Fans wanting riders to race all year.

What I can't understand is how personal the fans make it between the riders their business decisions because that is what it is business not personal.

As far as SX-only? Some guys do it because they can. Some guys do it because they want to. Some do it because that's the only thing they can get. Some do it because it makes the most sense for their budget and team structure.

For those of you who get so butt-hurt about it, you're out there riding weekly between the end of Supercross and the end of summer, right? And this shouldn't affect you much?

No, not for that (only). There are a handful of guys who are over the top right now in some of the garb...er, stuff they're posting. Peelout's one of them.

I don't know what Sondra sends for emails, but I would say that she's vocalizing a lot of the same type stuff that I hear in the pits every weekend...that people post a lot of dumb stuff without really knowing what they're talking about.

Trying to admin a board during the off-season is rarely fun. It had been civil for a week or two, and I'd like to keep it that way through the remainder of the season.

I'd agree that there's lots of dumb stuff posted. I'd like to think that we're trying to make it a better place, not worse.

As far as industry types? I'd say it's your perception that they think they're above everyone else...and maybe not reality.

the guys racing currently cant idolize RD5?? they either grew up racing him or RD5 was still coming through the ranks but i will say that RD5 has the potential to be as great or greater than MC, as was stated before he already owns MC in the outdoors... with that saids there still is only ONE King and ONE GOAT.... I like RD he will be the next MC, he's nice, respectable and gifted beyond all belief in moto ! He's just not there yet...MC did a lot for the sport besides race in it !

I get the statistics really I do but he's not on the same page as MC yet, he will be, I think RD is a great kid/young man/racer, I am just saying MC, even RC did a lot more for the sport then just race in it and get statistics. That's all...I don't put RD in the same category as MC...yet !

I don't agree with the GOAT nickname enitrely. RC is the greatest MX rider of all time and has more titles then anyone else but he is not the Greatest SX rider of all time. Two totally different disciplines. Take MC out of the picture completely then RC would be the king of sx and mx. But to be called the greatest of all time you would have to be the best in both IMO.

If you speak comparatively, RC has 150 wins which is an incredible amount. But MC has almost half that just in sx alone. Just think, 7 titles and 72 wins that alone is just amazing. An average of 10 wins a year minus the year on that POS suzuki.

I am not wanna be nor am I in the industry, it's your assumption not mine. All I am is a motocross promoter, part time bartender, single mom of two college kids and a legal secretary at a law firm. no ass kissing here nor would I ask for it. Oh and I am passionate about motocross/supercross and basketball.
