I listened to last nights show. The part where a former team manager made a move to take Kenny Watson"s job struck me as odd. Is this sort of thing common in this business?
I wont name the guy, as he knows who he is. Someone I always respected, but not so sure now.
I wondered if he might offer his side of the story so I can stop thinking of him as a bitch?

I just wish there were more "Marc Pelligrino's" in the sport.

Does this come from the overall young age group which comprises the participants; an age group where integrity isn't major-ally standard? Which causes the management dealing with them to deal on their wavelength?
Who knows, maybe its just like every other industry and with ours as small as it is, the disparaging details just aren't well kept secrets?
Managing the team and managing his relationship with Hart could each be considered full time jobs, he does both and a lot of the industry guys who have "been around," I don't think they would last long in that environment.(New School vs Old) Kenny is an easy target for some because of the tat's and the personna of Vegas, etc etc, but, behind the scenes, there is a lot more to it. When jobs are few and far between and money is tight, people will line up to point fingers right.......regardless of the profession, the pay grade or the position. Cmon, I can empty the trash better than that guy, sheesh, he sucks.
Hell, he shoudl probably be fired so he can be a million dollar radio host. The guy is dammed funny as well!
And then there is the EGO. Huge factor in both industries. Hell, even the guy selling spark plugs down at the bike shop will rock star ya.
You guys here rock. I am a mod on Thumpertalk (entry level, Yamaha 2 stroke section) and got off to a bad start here and misjudged the place. Sorry. I'll be back. Meanwhile, join up over there if you love Yamaha 2 strokes.
It was the other guy.
