Looking for recommendations on how to make my 2023 FX350 a little more tame and luggable for single track, hare scrambles and enduro riding. Currently running the stock 47 tooth rear sprocket and it is wearing me out. What're y'all running and recommend? Also will I need a different chain guide vs stock for a bigger sprocket? Thanks in advance.

For the same reasons as you I bought a 13 tooth front sprocket to try. It’s the cheapest option and doesn’t require a new chain. It’s way better.
When it’s time I will probably go to 50 tooth rear and go back to 14 front sprocket to keep better chain geometry around the swing arm. Someone said the 13 might wear the guides more. So far they look fine though. The 14/50 will require new chain.
1 tooth in front is about the same as 3 teeth on the rear sprocket.
Awesome, I am going to order the 13 now. Thank you!
@wackerwobbe How did you like the 13 tooth? I am struggling with the stock FX gearing right now... I have 2nd wound out most of the time in the woods, but 3rd is just too dead. It would be nice to be able to lug 3rd better.
Engine is more luggable and much more manageable in the woods from my experience. Could be different for everyone, I don't ride as much as a used to. I'm probably a B class rider now but used to be A in hare scramble if that helps at all. I'd recommend it 👍

Thanks! Did you notice any excessive wear or weird effects to the suspension? I read/hear these things here and there, but I’m never sure what’s really valid.
I didn't notice anything like that as of now. I did install it fall of last year and probably put 10-15 hours on it so far
