I have noticed that too. I really wish celebrities would stfu.

I have always liked jack Black's musical and comedy talent enough to give him somewhat of a pass. But when woke bullshit from celebrities was at its peak, I know what you mean. He was part of it. Sad, really, that he decided to say he wished Trumps assasination was a success, or something like that.

He went away for a bit after that and it seems he is trying to be better. Maybe im not paying as much attention and not noticing it from him anymore.

TBH, I don't wanna know at all what celebrities think. Couldn't avoid it for a while tho. DeNiro is really tarnished his coolness. Hard to watch him at all now.

But back to the original subject, I watched School of Rock with my kids many times as they were little. My 3 kids have all went into music backgrounds and thats a good memory as they chose musical routes

He’s a tool no matter his views. Not funny at all.

In the words of The Dude...

"Well, that's just, like, your opinion man."

All good. I won't downvote ya

He didn't say that about Trump.  Kyle Gass did, and Jack Black cancelled their tour because of it.

Was awesome...they find Bigfoot on accident and  go back to his cave he has a 7 piece drum set and they try to make it work...

No...3 piece band isn't going to work after jamming through some #'s lol

and bug foot shrugs after an apology as they walk out of the cave...

Maybe it's semantics, but he didn't cancel the tour because of what Kyle said, he cancelled the tour because of the backlash to what Kyle said.

Correct.  They both are complete kooks akin to DeNiro and Ruffalo.

JB cancelled when he did because Im sure his publicist/agent went into damage-control mode.   Kyle is basically a nobody but JB actually has something to lose by showing the world just how looney he really is.

Excellent reference.

All the guys that do Spinal Tap are great as well. The same guys that made the movie "A Mighty Wind".

The folk bands in A Mighty Wind are even more epic than Spinal Tap, imo

Living proof that being Lucky is far better than being talented. He is the president of the Overactors of Hollywood club. Not funny , not even a little bit. Douche.

He had his moments (school of rock was his best IMO) but he is certainly not someone I would make an effort to seek out for his movies. Also, I never got the Tenacious D thing.

Overacting is his schtick. He knows it. And Tenacious D is one of the greatest bands ever, if you believe Jack Black. 😉😁
