Has anyone had any luck converting the Kyb a kit shock from 16-22 gen Australian bikes to fit the new 23+ gen bikes? If so who did you have do it and what’s a ballpark price to covert it? I am in the east coast and will call will at Enzo later on but figured I’d try here for a little insight prior to calling them. Thanks for your help!

Damn, because the shocks are so different in size and shape I didn't even know this was possible?
If it is, first question I have is do the modifications and new parts cost more than a new shock?
I am also looking to do this. Let us know what you find out.
I was told by will at Enzo that the shock won’t work
This looks like the older shock on new frame.

Anyone know what is involved for the 16-22 kyb shock to fit on the 23+ frame? I have a 22 250sx and a 24 300xc. I know the linkage bolts are larger. Was thinking I could just use a bushing in the frame and swingarm and use the 22 linkage. Other option I considered was just taking the whole 22 rear swingarm, link, shock, wheel, etc and trading on the 24 300xc. I have ‘22 gen ktm’s and the 24. Would be nice to have parts easy to exchange. I think the 22 swingarm and linkage would soften up the 23+ chassis.
I know REP was doing an conversion on the old gen WP A Kit shocks to the new gen. Maybe they have one for KYB as well.
