Thats unfortunate, he tests and sets his bike up for the 200 ft triples in his back yard, not for SX...I wish he was on a real factory team, or had a real manager, no disrespect to Larry Brooks, buts he is nor was like Roger Decoster on or off the bike. Does he have anyone that was a successful pro around him?

has his hands full beating Ryan Dungey next season...the guy has it going on... unbeaten in championships since 2008, his confidence is sky high, he is smart and is mentally strong..great riding style...the total package.. not since RC has American produced such a complete mx/sx rider.

RD is the best American rider since RC imo...

James is is maybe still faster in raw speed when he is on the edge but that is not enough to beat Dungey for a 17 round SX and 12 rounds outdoor season.

RV can be as fast too be still has to get through s full SX and MX season on the 450.

add in Pourcel, Canard, Weimar, Reed, Grant and more it is going to be Stewarts toughest ever SX season.

Yeah, and there are still people that refuse to believe that the earth orbits around the sun and that the earth is round. Your refusal to believe it doesn't make it any less true. I always thought that the guy running the #1 plate proved over the course of a series that he was the best.

Its too easy to say someone is the fastest rider in the world.

RC and Everts earned those titles by racing over many years and collecting titles in the double digits and win totals in the 100s.

All I'm saying is things are going to be a whole lot tougher for Dungey next year and its going to be great for the fans.

James will be ready to go come A-1.
His best days are behind him, in my opinion.

Villipoto could be the spoiler for both Stewart and Dungey

James owned Dungey at A1, taking things slowly until he reeled in 5 seconds and passed him at the very end. Smart move on James´ part. People will suck up to James as they always do come round 4.

this msg board after A1 will sound like this: "yeah! james, i always knew you could do it"
What race were you watching? Stewart didn't reel him in, nerves got to Dugey and he handed it to James. He then reeled him back in and except for a loss of traction nearly took it back. In case you haven't been paying attention Dungey doesn't have a problem with nerves anymore. I happen to think that RD, JS, CR, and RV will all be racing for wins this season. Maybe TC, CP and one or two others also. Or Dungey runs away with it. That's the only scenarios I can see happening.

I think there could be some good racing. If James 100% and keeps it on two wheels, we could see more runaways also.

James has a tendency to crash out almost as much as he is on his game.
Plus who knows how much the wrist will come back....this could be an RJ kind of career changing thing.

I am definitely not saying that he isn't blazing fast but with a larger group of guys that can challenge him I just don't see there being many runaways.....of course I could be wrong.

I just want to see good racing so hopefully everyone stays healthy.
I have a wrist injury similar to Stewarts an it is so difficult to practice an then race in the same week. The pain is crazy, if he can regain his speed and rehab that wrist 100 percent i will be really impressed. And i want the name of his surgeon for sure, to fix me up.

James has access to two beautiful factory test tracks, don't kid yourself. And Larry Brooks is every bit a great team manager as any of the other managers out there.

Wonder how James will handle the SX introductions next year? Seeing how he will be billed as the 5th -10th place intro. There are plenty of fast guys who want to win and max out the sx circus media attention. The monster guys will get the limelight since it is the Monster Energy SX series and James is Red Bull. Times change huh?

Yeah...but Big Lenny doesn't post here. And maybe if some surrogates keep up, neither will they.
