In Casey IL at Lincoln Trail MX, the new owner does training and shouldn't be too far for you.

Iron sharpens iron. The reason training facilities work is because they group competitive riders together who have the same goal in mind, go faster. This makes them push harder, no one wants to be the slow guy in the group. Apply this day after day, and slowly but surely you get comfortable at that pace, and continue pushing to the next level. Dont get me wrong, there is a lot of instruction given and technique work, but speed comes from pushing your comfort zone as well. Its a multi-part equation. You can achieve the same results if you can find good riders to ride and train with locally. One week will be fun, but its what you do after that week of training thats going to make a difference.
