Hey dudes.
Back near Christmas, my then just turned 4 year old asked while at the track if he could ride our friends PW50. Cruised the parking lot a few times and then returned to his 12inch Orion. He kept saying “when I’m four and a half I’ll ride one” which he says stuff like that all the time so we just brushed it off. We put it on the calendar in his room but didn’t think much of it.
I came home from a work trip today (his 1/2 birthday) and he walked up and said “Where is it? Is it in your truck?” And I was super confused. Till he said he’s looking for his P Dub. 😂😂.
So here I am looking for a 2017 or newer PW. But, I want to do something cool for him and I’m looking for some inspiration.
Here is my nine year olds 65 we did earlier in the year before and after pics.

Show me your PW’s fellas!
Not exactly a "build," but I bought this one brand new in 2013 for my 4 year old. He still blasts it around the neighborhood! 😎
Been sitting the last 2 years waiting for our 3YO to want to ride it. 2022 with powdercoated wheels and cerakoted springs/forks.
my 5 year old STILL refuses to touch his stryder, bicycle, Stacyc, or PW.
some kids get the itch at different times i guess.🤷♂️
I think the problem is you need to buy a full mod Cobra.
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
Getting this one ready for 3 grandkids, edit: 4. (One in the oven) Still in the ordering parts phase. I picked it up about 5 years ago for $500'. Got it running and few weeks ago, new tires are on. Waitng on stock levers, throttle assembly, gasket kit etc. The first two in line are girls, then a boy, then in unknown on the way, (Son found out his wife is pregnant a couple weeks ago). I ordered yellow plastic and some graphics, should be ready for the first one come desert season. She's five and just getting comfortable on her bicycle. The youngest (the boy) has been to every speedway race this year and is super enthused. If you ask him how a speedway bike turns he cranks the bars and hangs off the side lol.
Both our kids started on a PW, Daughter at the former Jack Murphy stadium during a MTEG race practice session

Wife and daughter got their first bikes at the same time. 92' or 93 ? RT180 and PW50. I wish I kept both those bikes
I'ver been getting a kick lately talking to dads at the races about their PW builds. There's some serious time/thought/money being put into them.
In the 2000's it seemed like the huge motorhomes and trailers with 6 - 10 bikes lined up usually belonged to big bike A/B riders and supermini riders. Now it seems most the huge rigs belong to 50 riders and their parents. Massive rig with a line a little bikes out front. Entertaining to watch.
That's a good sign 😎 The PW's are super fun to watch
From the standpoint of that 50 parent, I can say that there is a very practical purpose to it. When we bought ours, we planned for the rain days or super hot weather when we would all be stuck inside and multiple little kids needing their own space so they don't drive us (as) insane 😂
Man my 9 year old was the same way. Then last year he rode a few times because he wanted to go to FCA Motocross camp in Oklahoma and now it’s a deep obsession for him. All things moto.
