Or does he try far too hard to be funny in interviews etc? In my opinion, he just comes across as too full on!

i think max anstie's interviews are cool, he seems nervous and excitable but otherwise well spoken. his hand movements reminds me a little of ricky bobby.

X100 ! Jesus dude......cut the kid some slack! He's in shape , young and full of energy.....and doing real good at the sport we all love. What's "not' to get excited about? the kid is living the dream man.

And honestly.....he didn't seem like he was trying to be a comedian at all.....he's just a goofy kid. Cracks me up almost as much as Dean Wilson!
