Just saw this MXA video on Lake Elsinore. Lot's of pros practicing there this week before Pala/Fox. One of the partners mentioned they hope to open late June. Sorry if old news.

This title sounds a hell of a lot better to me than the might open one. such good news !!
I posted the thread that said "might reopen" because at that time, it was not definite, but the parties trying to reopen it had definitely started the process, but definitely reopening does sound better than might reopen.
The biggest issue now is pricing, and it may be that they charge so much to ride there that many people can't afford it. We will just have to wait and see since not even one of the people that interviewed the 2 guys that are reopening the track asked them if they knew how much they were going to charge which is the very first thing they should have figured out to see if it was going to be realistic..
Good point on price rogers. Should be interesting. I wonder if they will just charge what Fox charges (I think the one guy runs or ran Fox) or will they adjust price to cover the increased costs of running a track that is not on Indian land like Fox. ...or will their pricing try to affect demand of one over the other since they are so close. Personally (slow vet rider), I would pay $100 per day for a well groomed track that is not overcrowded.

They will never be too crowded with 3 traxks and the main likely being rideable by slower riders.
At $100.00 entry fee, you definitely won't be riding on a crowded track, but you also won't be riding there very long either because they would soon go out of business.
They will definitely charge more than Fox and it will be at least $50.00.

Anyone hear anything new? I have not seen anything since that May video.
Yes, the people running the track recently said August.
They have to charge what they have to charge, and Perris already charges $50. That said, Instead of riding at blown-out, crappy Elsinore for $50, I think I'll try something safer and cheaper, like gold-plated underwater sharkfishing.
Just kidding; what am I gonna do? Eat shark after catching one? F that! I hate seafood! I'll be riding hardpack at blown-out Elsinore and crying about spending $50 to do it. I just wish they would charge $40 though. I could justify riding there a lot more often if so.
No further update on their opening date but they were grading and moving truck loads of dirt on the main track today, and they removed the entire front straight on the Novice track and made a pile of dirt 6 feet high along the front straight.
