However, I highly doubt he's trying to start the 4th Reich. 

Just doing some speech and grandstanding and acting silly is how I see it.  He's a bit goofy.

But I get it - if anyone on any side of politics did that ,the other side would make a fuss about it and it goes viral and gets talked about.  They get called Hitler and all that silly stuff.

Here is the rub about party politics...all the lefties that made a huge deal about Musk doing this, have to also make a huge deal about Booker doing it, or they are hypocrites...and all the righties who swept Musk doing under the rug and dismissed it and made excuses for it, have to the same for Booker, or they are hypocrites...(though I do feel like the right is making a big deal out of this as a way of mocking the left who made a big deal out of Musk doing)

I don't think either are a Nazi solute...and I think its trying to make a mountain out of mole hill...

No I disagree with your statement but agree with your side bar. No neither are nazis for doing it. We should all be able to easily agree with that. Key word should. But the issue is for at least the last 30 years that I can remember we prior to Trump never really held their feet to the fire for shit they said and did that they crucified Republicans for doing as well. We alway swept it under the rug. Hell even Covid their trying so so so hard to sweep it under the rug and tell us were living in the past but bring up the pettyist of things like this with musk.
