Yes, they are relevant to the western world, the world is interconnected, what happens in one part of the world effects other parts of the world, the west does not live in isolation. Interactions between the east and west have shaped the world.
If the bible is a historical text, so are the Koran and the Rig Veda, laying out history from different perspectives.
So the Magna Carta, and the rule of law, and inherent rights - those concepts came from the Quran and Mesopotamia? Or are you just being purposely obtuse ? That would inform you of which religious texts have had the most impact on your country, which is the point I've been getting at that you keep either missing, or avoiding.
