I'm traveling northward from Florida to Michigan on the weekend of the High-Point National and would love to watch the race if I can swing it. The problem is I'm traveling with a one-year-old Golden Retriever. I don't think my pup would be thrilled hanging out in the hotel so I'm looking for other places to stay. I checked AirBnB and didn't see much, anyone have good suggestions for rentals where I could leave the dog for the day? Anyone know of any local Doggy Day Care?
Are dogs not allowed at the track?

I love my dog but I don't expect you to. I don't know how my dog would react around the commotion of an outdoor national and the noise, smell and ruckus. I have a very sweet pup, but who knows if he's get scared and bite someone's daughter.
Ah I see where you mention he’s still a pup now. There’s a lot of doggy day care services in Morgantown
When I went to Red Bud a few years ago, I found a nearby dog sitter on rover.com. They are screened and have reviews. The sitter was in Niles, Michigan. I just dropped my dog off before the race, attended the race, and picked her up after. I use rover.com to find a sitter when I go on vacation, too.

Mountaineer Pet Care in Morgantown is very good and close to High Point. I take my cattle dog there when I can’t bring him to the races and they are excellent with him.
