I’ve been there for last 5-6 nationals ans always get through the gate with water bottles n my backpack. I freeze a couple the night before and mid day when they thaw out it is nice to have ice cold water when it heats up.

Thanks

Water bottles and backpacks have been fine, it was just the food.

Update: looks like water might be a no-go.

Ain't that some shit.  So we can take in an empty back pack? Cooling fucking idea. I wonder how they treat people that are a diabetic and might need a snack throughout the day.

Yeah, my sugar getting low and I'm kinda forgetting where I'm at. Let me remember to go stand in a long ass line for something sweet right quick before I pass out.

I'm kidding but damn it makes you wonder..wonder if I can at least throw some binoculars in my bag?

Even if they are completely sealed? I’m sorry, but some people need to get a talking to.

Yeah, no water at an outdoor national.  Good thing they don't still end the series here in late August when it's over 100 degrees.

They search backpacks but allow them inside. Water only according to the lady who opened mine. I came in with 4 cold waters and was good to go. Must be sealed

I had two sealed bottles of water, made it in fine.

Me and my dad will be there, going to attempt to bring my camera in with the 4 lenses I have, one I don't think will make it through is my telephoto lens, which isn't as big as what the credentialed guys are using. I am going to be wearing a black main event moto shirt, moto option straw hat, a black ogio san manuel backpack.I will be around the finish line and podium.

Pretty sure you were on tv at the beginning of the broadcast.

My apologies, water was allowed (as long as it was sealed, as others have mentioned). Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

Yeah, I had zero issues getting in or out.  They looked through the book bag and sent right on though. I also didn't have much issue leaving. We stay until race was over.

From the time we walked back to the car until we were on the main road it took only 22 minutes.i would say that is pretty fast compared to other sx and mx races I've attended.

Same for me, but traffic was the worst, we went off roading to try and beat a little traffic, didn’t really work.

I’ve seen the pictures .in various discords. So cool to get that opportunity.
