Put a tusk HR meter on my beta 450. I wrapped it around the spark plug cable 7x, tight as I could.
I have it set on 1p2r. It says I'm idling at 4k rpm, max was 15k rpm... No way that's accurate!! I've been basically putting around breaking it in.
My question is, am I on the wrong setting or is something else wrong? Walk me through the HR meter set up if so! Thanks.
It's likely to be the setting, maybe 1p1r.
The hour meter itself will be accurate even if your setting is off, your RPM will just be off just fyi. But like stated before, change the setting until the RPM is where it should be
This. Most bikes pulse every revolution.
