I think it's an issue with the app because the same thing happened to me after I updated the app.
You have to go into your WiFi and connect the app to your phone. It doesn’t automatically connect everytime. Just hit the starter button on the bike real quick (you don’t have to start the bike).
i actually had the bike running at one point to make sure it connected. It should have been linked to it.
Make sure you go into your WiFi on your phone and select it. As I said before, it doesn’t automatically connect everytime. It will look like its own WiFi network. I went through the same thing

Precisely what Zac said. You must manually select it. Because most phones will not auto connect to it because it has no internet.

It’s hard to say without being there…I would tell you the next thing I would do is delete the app and re-install. Maybe disconnect everything from your phone and try to connect everything again from the start.
Welp, i figured it out, the VPN on my phone was blocking it.
