How many people here are actual track owners or know someone who is operating a track?
Genuinely curious as it is for something I've been brainstorming...
What do you want to know? I know a handful or private and public owners.
I know two track owners on a first name basis for what it’s worth if that what you asking. Even have cell phone number for one.
I am very close to a few.
I'm trying to better understand some of the challenges of track ownership and I have some hypotheses to some complications...
Can they take 5 mins to answer some questions? https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeKjJ-7A5RMZvcS6ac-i0oBsTp1SWgNfTMdUdWFjPrSsczBOg/viewform?usp=header

I had a national caliber private track. Wasn't public but I did have a decent amount of people come out. What did you want to know?
Marketing is the least of track operators concerns right now. Insurance issues are killing the sport. REP in NorCal had to shut down operations at all their tracks for a week recently due to problems with their insurance. Codes and restrictions by local gov't entities. Loss of land leases. Dust and noise complaints. Riders that don't follow common sense rules. These are the real concerns, not getting word out to the customer.
One of the track owners I know, his biggest problem is rain. South East Texas gets serious rain. West Texas doesn’t always get rain. East and South East Tx gets to much many times.
I’ll put you in touch with my son..🙃 lemme know ..
